An argument with my parents

Hello, dear judges, today, I’d like to share one of my arguments with my parents.

The other day, my cousin Larry came to play. But I didn’t want to play with him at all. He is only 5 years old, but I’m fourteen. It had been so boring to play with him and I must be very patient so that he wouldn’t get crying or mad at me. I pretended to be working on my phone. My dad of course knew what I was doing. So he urged me to play with Larry. In order not to make my father angry, I said OK. But I was reluctant in my deep heart. So I was only standing near Larry instead of playing some interesting games with him. Suddenly, a loud “Bang” came to my ears, and to everyone else’s ears. Larry smashed my mother’s cup. What was worse, the loud bang scared him and he began to cry loudly. My parents came out of the kitchen and shouted at me without even asking what happened. That made me really mad. And I talked back angrily. And I shouted to him what happened and told them they were just barking up the wrong tree. I surely had a bad afternoon, and I’m sure my parents did, too. That night, they said sorry to me, and I said sorry to them, I shouldn’t talk back so loudly, and I should try to explain the truth. And that’s a lesson for me. Thank you.
